Meaty Times is a free, simple cooking assistant for roasting joints of meat. Tell it what you are cooking, how much it weighs, and how you like it done — and it gives you clear oven temperatures, cooking times, resting guidance, and optional serve-at scheduling so your roast is ready when you want to eat.

What you can do

Feature Description
Roast calculator Select meat type, enter weight in kilograms, choose doneness where it applies, and calculate instructions.
Two-phase roasting For beef and lamb, get a high initial temperature then a reduce-to step when the recipe calls for it.
Resting time Every result includes how long to rest the joint before carving.
Serve at planner After calculating, enter when you want to serve and see clock times for when to start, change temperature, remove from the oven, and begin resting.

Supported meats in the current release: beef, lamb, pork, chicken, and gammon. Measurements use kilograms and degrees Celsius.
